Meet me at the Museum

Meet me at the Museum is a series of four free drop-in events every month, for older visitors to come along to the museums and galleries to share memories and enjoy each other’s company.
Join us for a nostalgic look back in time, or discover interesting facts on a particular theme, over a tea or coffee, with our friendly visitor hosts.
Explore a different theme every month, from nature and fashion, transport, the 1940s, the 1950s, the armed forces and more.
All are welcome. This event is dementia friendly. You don’t need to book, it’s a drop-in event, so just pop in on your own and make new friends, or bring a pal or someone you care for.
Large groups are welcome. If bringing a large group please email email@example.com in advance to let us know.
Meet me at the Museum runs four times every month on Fridays from 11am – 1pm. It runs in rotation at the following museums and galleries:
- Sudley House, Mossley Hill
- Lady Lever Art Gallery, Port Sunlight
- Museum of Liverpool, Pier Head, Liverpool Waterfront
- World Museum, William Brown Street, Liverpool
Due to government recommendations, all National Museums Liverpool venues are temporarily closed until further notice, to support efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus).
The health and safety of our visitors and colleagues is our top priority and, while we understand many of you will be disappointed by the closures, we do not wish to put anyone at risk.
Thank you for your understanding and patience while we’re working through our next steps. Please bear with us, and we will share new Meet me at the Museum dates once it is safe to do so.
